Waterfalls in Nandi

Tindinyo Falls: Resort, Falls, Frolic, Power Plant
In the far west, the route from Kaimosi through Kabsabet to Eldoret goes past many great attraction sites of Nandi County. It traverses the central area of the jug-shaped Nandi, noteworthy for its jets of waterfalls, small and towering, like Tindinyo Falls along River Yala. Although small, by any standards, the site is well developed. Tindiyo Falls is best seen from the Tindiyo Falls Hotel, a charming old house restored to a homely resort. Also of interest along Tindiyo riverine walk is a drop in at the pocket-size hydro-plant found upstream that offers a unique sight on walking trips and close by South Nandi Forest. Two Rivers – the Kimondi and Sirua – converge in the North Tinderet Forest to form the Yala, which flows into Lake Victoria through a series of bows, swamps and glades. Tindiyo Falls Resort is located 19 km west of Kapsabet town through Chepsonoi and Tindinyo Centers.

Touring waterfalls in Kenya offers a refreshing and adventurous experience, showcasing the country’s stunning natural beauty. Each waterfall – many still little known – provides a unique and memorable experience, whether you’re seeking adventure, relaxation, or simply the opportunity to connect with nature
