At a point where Kimugu River Lodge and Chagaik Arboretum converge, the dainty Dimbolil Dam that is found within the restful gardens and lovely wooded landscape of the Finlays Tea Estate, is a really nice spot to spend a day in nature. Nestled in picturesque locations with stunning views of rolling tea farms, lush greenery and groves, an anglers paradise, Dimbolil Dam is much-liked for the trout fishing, exploration of the nearby forest and educational tours of the tea making process at Finlays Tea Factory; and at the close by Unilever’s Tea Factory. Dimbolil Dam is located within the James Finlay’s Tea Estate, just a short distance from Chomogondy. Still and all, the soothing sound of the dam creates a calming atmosphere, perfect for unwinding – for hours and end – with stunning sunsets. There is a single self-catering cottage available for hire through Finlay’s Tea Estate.
