Golf Courses in Embu

Embu Golf Range: Latest Course in Kenya
Among the latest golf courses to be established in Kenya, opening up its greens to the public in 2019, Embu Golf Range serves as valuable training ground for golfers of all skill levels, from beginners learning the basics to elite experienced players refining their techniques. Currently a 9 holes course, with 5 water hazards, it offers a convenient and accessible environment for honing skills and enjoying the sport of golf without the constraints of a full-length golf course. More importantly, it gives residents of Embu town and its environs a convenient place to enjoy golf.
It is a pleasantly quiet course to enjoy a more relaxed pace of play. Relatively new in Kenya’s golf circuit, Embu Golf Range receives relatively little play or attention compared to more renowned or highly trafficked courses. Part of its unpopularity is its location, in a remote or less populated area that struggles to attract golfers. Embu County lacks visibility in Kenya’s touring circuit. The design, maintenance, and playing conditions of Embu Golf Range are standard, or generally acceptable.
However, in comparison to other courses in Kenya, it may fail to appeal to golfers seeking enjoyable and challenging experiences. As is the way with golf, a big draw tournament would go a long way to put word out about the course. Embu Golf Range is located in Rwika, about 10 km from Embu town off B7 Embu-Kitui Road.

Whether your thing is a few power swings, a round of golf while on vacation, improving your skills or thirsting for new challenges – or somewhere in between – golfing in Kenya will treat you to fine memorable experiences few have enjoyed.
